On this day, June 24, 1968
George begins producing the Jackie Lomax album Is This What You Want? The album includes "Sour Milk Sea" which George had written in Rishikesh, India. "Sour Milk Sea" was released as a Jackie Lomax single on Apple Records, and features George, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

The Traveling Wilbury single "Nobody's Child" is released in the UK, backed with "Lumiere," performed by Dave Stewart. The twelve-inch and CD versions of the single add Ringo's 1989 live version of "With A Little Help Form My Friends." The single supports the Romanian Angel Appeal charity.

George signs Jiva (pronounced Gee-Vah), a four-piece band that originated from America, to his Dark Horse Records. Jiva comes from the Sanskrit root "jiv" which means "to breathe." They released one self-titled album and the "Something's Goin' On Inside L.A." single on Dark Horse Records.

On this day, June 6, 1992
George, playing ukulele and singing the Cab Calloway number "Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea," is featured in the Channel 4 music documentary Mister Roadrunner in the UK, hosted by the former Squeeze pianist Jools Holland. The tune later also appeared on George's Brainwashed album.
