The rocking piano opening you hear at the beginning of "Hey, Bulldog", were John and Paul influenced by hearing that when they appeared on background vocals for the Rolling Stones song "We Love You" in 1967? The intro on that song sounds similar to it or in that style.

Wow! I never thought of that! It is a bit similar isn't it? I LOVE "We Love You" and it's flip side "Dandelion". The latter of which I love to perform. I have always felt those two tracks would have fit snuggly on the cool but dumb titled LP "Their Satantic Majesties Request".
